Welcome to FoggyBlocks. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how that information is used and safeguarded, and your choices regarding your data when using FoggyBlocks across Web, Android, and Desktop platforms.

FoggyBlocks minimizes data collection to only what is necessary for real-time multiplayer and account continuity:

• Anonymous Player ID: A randomly generated anonymous UUID created on your device during silent authentication to maintain game state without requiring credentials.
• Display Profile: An optional display alias and profile avatar chosen or uploaded by the player.
• Third-Party Sign-In: If you connect Google Sign-In (including FedCM), we receive your Google user identifier, display name, and email address solely for identity verification and account synchronization.
• Gameplay & Rivalry Data: Move sequences, game scores, win/loss history, and rivalry statistics recorded during local and online matches.
• Connection & Diagnostic Data: Ephemeral network connection logs, WebSocket session identifiers, and server diagnostic logs necessary for real-time game relay and fraud prevention.

The information collected is used strictly for the following purposes:

• To facilitate real-time online matchmaking, friend requests, and multiplayer games.
• To securely persist your game progression, achievements, and statistics.
• To enable cross-device synchronization and profile recovery via optional third-party authentication.
• To monitor server stability, diagnose network disconnects, and protect service integrity.

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers.

Your game profile and authentication tokens are securely transmitted using TLS encryption (HTTPS/WSS). Authentication credentials utilize industry-standard cryptographic JWT tokens. Data is stored on secured servers with strict access controls.

FoggyBlocks utilizes select infrastructure and authentication service providers:

• Google Identity Services / FedCM: For optional Google OAuth account linking and sign-in verification.
• Cloudflare: For web content delivery, DDoS mitigation, and global edge hosting.
• Fly.io: For hosting real-time WebSocket game servers and database services.

You have full control over your data. You may change or clear your display alias and avatar at any time directly in your in-game Profile settings. To request full deletion of your player record and associated game history, you may contact us at [email protected].

FoggyBlocks does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us so we can take immediate action to remove the data.
